This Week's Menu...
Where our food comes from:
Our meat comes from local free range farms, visited personally by the butcher at Coughtreys in Pulborough.
Our fish is sustainably wild caught or farmed, supplied by Albert, our friendly fish man at Charlie's Farm Shop.
Vegetables are mostly organic from our huge weekly veg box from Wayside Organics, and some from the organic Community Garden at Petworth.
All our milk is organic.
Eggs are as far as possible from my own organic pet bantams.
Bread is made here, by the children, using organic flour, sometimes from local mills at Hassocks using wheat from Washington.
We eat seasonally.

TEA: Chicken casserole, fresh organic peas
LUNCH: Salmon parcels
TEA: Jacket potatoes with mild chilli
LUNCH: Halloumi and mint frittata, toasted pitta
TEA: Sausage pasta, fresh tomatoes
LUNCH: Chicken and sweetcorn pasta
TEA: Mini pork burgers in a bun, salad
LUNCH: Crackers, ham, apple, grapes, cheese
TEA: Fish pie and peas
LUNCH: Mozzerella and vegetable omelette
TEA: Honey and mustard chicken, potatoes, sweet corn
LUNCH: Ham and cucumber sandwiches, cherry tomatoes
TEA: Local free range beef burger, homemade chips, cucumber
LUNCH: Tomato, olive and parmesan pasta bake
TEA: Baked chicken in tomatoes, green beans, mashed potato
LUNCH: Pasta carbonara with peas
TEA: Roast chicken, cauliflower cheese, baby potatoes, carrots
LUNCH: Tuna and sweetcorn pasta bake
TEA: Meatballs, spaghetti, parmesan, broccoli
