I grew up in a cedar shingled bungalow, down a lane in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Summer holidays were spent playing in the woods and fields with my brother and helping out at our neighbours farm. Nature is a part of who I am, wild food, crafts and preserving are big hobbies, but most of all I love children, love teaching and am a passionate homemaker.
Further education took me to Wales, a degree in Marine Biology, a growing enthusiasm for conservation and teaching, a move to Cumbria, an advanced Forest Schools qualification and Diploma in Informal Education, and full circle back to Sussex to start a family.
My partner Neil and I bought Paddock Cottage in 2014 and live here with our two beautiful boys Arthur (5) and Moss (2). We now happily welcome children into our natural, Montessori inspired home.
